Когда IFBB PRO лишится "Олимпии" - тогда будет писец.

Есть такая вероятность, что Мэнион останется без Олимпии?

Последний Император ММА, крайне слабая.
В отличие от IFBB Сантохи - те Европы, а США все замешано на бизнесе
И Олимпия без маниона не сможет, а Манион без Олимпии
Они всегда договорятся
А Европа - ну по возможности
Я думаю, что появится международная NPC и начнётся развал любительской IFBB

А зачем Вейдер это сделал какие-то догадки есть? Взял и разделил наследие - IFBB отдельно Оля отдельно. Или к IFBB он уже никак не относился?

1azarr, он искренне хотел оставить все сыну - Эрику, но тот никак не желал любить бодибилдинг )
Поэтому как хороший бизнесмен он успел продать по очень высокой цене Издательский дом и Олимпию.
А любительскую IFBB оставил народу.
Сказал, что есть 2 человека - Пол Чуа и Сантоха - голосуйте за них сами.
Американскую NPC и про-лигу он не трогал, тк это автономные структуры.
Более того, раньше вместо PRo League был Pro Division , который "отсудил" у Уайдеров после ругани опальный президент Уэйн Демилья - тот самый, который был до Маниона.

1azarr, последнее, что я слышал о Демилье - это то, что он заболел раком.
Возможно, он уже скончался. Я не знаю. Это много лет назад было.
Демилья владел IFBB Pro Division и правами на турнир Nights of the champions, который мы как то даже покупали и показывали.
Как сейчас помню, победил тогда Пол Дилетт.
А мы ещё убегали с Демильей от профсоюза театра Бекон, где все проходило
Черными ходами уносили технику, тк профсоюз забастовал по поводу того, что деньги за съемку платили в федерацию, а не им.
В США по каждому пшыку суды и ругань.
Как ты то ни было, после ухода Демильи Уайдер создал IFBB Pro League и поставил туда начальника NPC Маниона.
А турнир "Ночь чемпионов" закрылся и на его место пришёл NY Pro.
Никто ничего не продавал и не передавал.
Просто назвали все по другому и вычеркнули человека из жизни Федерации.

I know that our bodybuilding community is having a difficult moment with the tension between the IFBB International and the IFBB Pro, and I wanted to come here to hear from all of you what your concerns and thoughts are about the current situation with our sport.
I used to give State of the State speeches every year, but for the state of bodybuilding, I'd like to just listen to you.
I know very well that bodybuilding doesn't belong to any one federation or person. It belongs to the fans and the athletes because without the champions on the stage and the people in the audience, we have absolutely nothing.
As the promoter of Arnold Classics all over the world, I keep getting asked how I feel about this IFBB split.
The truth is, I just want our sport to succeed. I think infighting does nothing to help with that goal. We are best when we are moving forward together, no matter what federation we all come from - I myself competed in NABBA, AAU, and IFBB. I'd like nothing more than to unify the sport and end these turf wars.
You know my concerns. At the professional level, some bodybuilders look like they're starring in Junior 2, it seems the focus is on only size and not aesthetics, the art of posing is getting lost and not being judged outside the Arnold Classics, and an overdosage of drugs, and as a result, we have tremendous difficulty getting TV coverage and expanding our fan base. At the amateur level, I've heard from many athletes about restrictions on where and when they can compete and other bureaucratic red tape and a hardcore top-down approach.
So I want to hear your thoughts, concerns, and challenges. And I know many of you are athletes, so I'd like you to be as specific as possible.
Even though we are told we have to choose one federation or another, I prefer to keep the sport unified, and I certainly don't let anyone rush me into any decisions, especially with something this close to my heart.
I want to hear your take and I'm counting on your candid thoughts.

Pecker, Weider Health & Fitness CEO and IFBB Professional League (IFBB Pro League) President Emeritus Eric Weider and IFBB Pro League President Jim Manion, today announced that they have reached an agreement for AMI to purchase from IFBB Pro League its half of the Mr. Olympia joint venture with AMI becoming the sole owner.

“It gives me great pleasure to announce this acquisition which provides AMI with an extraordinary opportunity to further build upon the success of The Mr. Olympia Contest and the legacies of Joe and Ben Weider in the sport of bodybuilding,” said Mr. Pecker. “We will ensure that Mr. Olympia continues its reign as the biggest and best bodybuilding event while broadening opportunities for expansion and remaining focused on creating an extraordinary experience for all of our valued fans, and partners.”

The Mr. Olympia joint venture was established in 2005 and includes the sport of bodybuilding’s premier event, The Mr. Olympia Contest, an international competition well regarded as the sport’s “Super Bowl.” Introduced by Joe Weider and his brother Ben Weider in 1965, the first event was held at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. This year marks the 53rdannual edition, which will also be the biggest in the event’s history with more than $1,300,000 in prize money awarded, reflecting 141% growth in prize money from the $540,000 in prize money awarded in 2004.

AMI also takes ownership of Joe Weider’s Olympia Fitness & Performance Expo, which was introduced in 2004 and is held in conjunction with The Mr. Olympia Contest.  With the addition of the Fitness & Performance Expo in 2004, attendance over the course of the weekend has grown over 400% from 12,000 attendees to more than 60,000 in 2016. The number of exhibitors at the Expo also grew 120% by more than doubling from 500 booths in 2004 to more than 1,100 exhibitors in 2016.

Under Mr. Pecker’s stewardship and that of IFBB Pro League President Emeritus Eric Weider and President Jim Manion, over the past ten years the Olympia Competition was expanded to include the Men’s & Women’s Physique Olympia, Bikini Olympia, Classic Physique Olympia and the 212 Olympia as well as the introduction of an Amateur Contest at this year’s Olympia Competition. Я же писал об этом много раз, что AMI является владелицей "Олимпии", и что если она захочет, то этого турнира просто не будет или будет под эгидой другой федерации.

Его уровень был промежуточным к Олимпии.Теперь он в этом не участвует.)
Единственное;пусть любителям пробивакт хорошие призовые и контракты ,где выбор лучшего будет основан на правилах реально,а не "кто ближе,тот и победитель"

Нашел такое письмо сегодня в интернете, хотя на официальных сайтах IFBB его нет, поэтому непонятно, правда это или нет. Если правда, то начинается полный пипец и дисквал за выступление на турнирах NPC

так NPC это просто еще одна федерация, за участие в турнирах которой будет дисквал. В том смысле, что и раньше ИФББ любительская банила своих атлетов, если они выступали в турнирах других федераций
