OK Quadzilla..........and everyone else.



We pulled up to ronnies on friday afternoon, there he was in a house of pain shirt and spandex pants. First thing he says"how ya'll doin"? We stood around then went in his gym, then sat down and had a lil seminar. He taked about just about everything. Nutrition, blood tests, tests for his heart, what he was weighing, etc. I last well over a hour. Before his house, ofcourse we took a 15 minute tyour of Metroflex, the core of hardcore gyms,


After Roonies house, we went out to Outback Steakhouse, talk about people staring! I don't think they knew what to think of all us freaks. Ronnie was down at the other end kikin it. We didn't get our food for a good while, but damn was it good! We shot the shit, then went back to the hotel, to get some sleep for what was to come on Saturday, "training at Metro flex Gym.

Saturday morning we all loaded up in the two overloaded white vans to go to ronnies we wnet in, and all I saw was food!! I could see the twinkle in Ron Harris's eyes with all the food before him and I, JPEREZ(Javier) and everone else. I mean I'M TAKING A GOOD TEXAN BREAKFAST, EGGWHITES, oatmeal, grits, eggs, toast, pancakes, jelly, sausage patties, hamburger patties....etc. If you wanted it, you got it. Ronnies sisters and his mama, were hard at work making a great meal for all of us. Now I know why "home is where the heart is" cause the Coleman family is so close to eachother, just a great bunch of genuine people.


So after a few cups of coffee, some cream, suger, aminos, and two plates of everything I c ould get my hands on..................It was time for my reckoning, it was time to bleed at Metroflex.



Ronnie was doing legs, and I had my vid camera with me to film some it. I tell ya, for that man to front squat 4 plates for 10- reps after being back to training for onlyu a few weeks,,,IN HUMAN, that is all I got to say about that. I did some shoulders, got a wicked ass burn. Before I know it, Branch Warren walding, and went straight to the deadlift area, that fucker can deadlift. Intensity is what he is all about.

Ron Harris did legs with Ronnie, along with a few other people, after he was done, his face was flushed as i'm sure his lower limbs were filled to the absalute most with blood. I knew he was hurting, but I would soon know what it would be like, but not till the next day. Sunday.

After Metroflex, we once againg went to eat, this time at the Black Eye Pea. Good stuff!!! After filling up on some calories and sweet tea. We went back to the hotel to get ready for the Mavericks?Suns game sat. night. We got there, and got invided to a place called the "Jack Daniels Club" watched the game, drank a few pilsners, and took some pictures with some stripper chicks that were there passing out passes to their clubs. Not a bad night at all!! You hear more of that from Mr. Harris.

After the game it was back to the Outback to eat....again!!!!! Good stuff.


Sunday, well it was sunday, I had some class stuff to do, so I didn't get to go to church with everybody, but Haris will have alot on that in his column coming up!!

We all went out to Country Kitchen and had some great food, I sat right next to Ronnie. Shot the shit. It was fun.

Back to Ronnies, time to train, take pics, talk waht ever.

I wanted to fucking train, along with Ron Harris. Ronnies training partned Lee, was gonna do legs, absalutley nobaody wanted to do it, well I said"fuck it, let's do this", so I said yes, then three more joined in.

The music started, as did we. It was an experiece unto it'self.


First was Front Squats, to the fucking floor.

three sets, to 2 plates.

Next was Hack Squats, wore ronnie's knee wraps, went up to 400 plus or 12 reps, I was jacked up, maybe it was the enviorment, I don't know, but I was jacked up. Next was, well you what the hell was next.

Lunges, outside, my legs were fucking burning. But Lee was pushing me on , so I did it two sets, fucking pain, it was great, I could barely walk, but we weren't done yet.

I was time to go back inside and do some sitting leg curls, all the way up to 250, for failure. My legs were cramping as were the other tow guys that stayed with me and Mr. Lee. I was then time for standing single leg curls, three sets heavy weight, to failure. I was actually getting nausious, and dizzy. But drak some gatorade, flet better. Thougt we were done.


DONE??? NOPE. Lee wanted to do some calves, so we went over to seated calf raise, 1 plate for 100 yes, 100 non-stop reps, try this after that type of leg workout, fucking brutal. If that wasn't enough, i was then on to 3 plates for 15-20, then finally 4 plate for as many as we could slow and hard. Then it was finished, Mr. Lee was satisfied with us, and we were satisfied with ourselves. I have never had a workout like it. I went out to the living room, and plopped down on the couch next to Big Gus Carter, legs went numb,,,,,the pain would't come till last night.


Well it was time to go, everybody was ready, But Me Ron Harris, and another fellow, weren't leaving, Ronnie invided us three to go out to dinner with him, gus, vickie gates, and his other training partners. It was great.


Then it was back to ronnies just the four of us, Me, Ronnie, Ron Harris, and Mr. Lee. We all sat down on the coutch, and wathed some of the Oscars. for about 45 minutes, then it was time to take Ron to the airpot, so us three hopped in his Mercedes, and went to the airport, on the way, we talked about competitions, what ever came up, it felt like we all knew eachother forever, that is just the type of person Ronnie is. After saying bye to Ron, it was back to the hotel for me, the weekend was over, but lucky for me, I had the last laugh, Ronnie and I talked about life in general, his life, competions, how mcuh is loves the sport....well you can all guess. But it was great, I could taked to him without feeling out of turn or guilty. It was just us two blasting some Ludacris, talking about life. An experience I will never forget.


And that was my weekend, told it the best I could.

I plan on weighing about 5 pounds more than I did at last year's Olympia. That seems to be the progression that my body is doing every year since I won my first Olympia

This sport is called bodybuilding and if we're not building our bodies, what is there to see? Shucks, you want to see some small symmetrical guys, then turn on the TV and watch Survivor or Fear Factor.

I plan on competing in the Mr. Olympia until my body just won't hold up anymore. If you look over my competitive history, you'll see I'm just getting better and better so… God willing… look for me in the Olympia the next 3, maybe 4 years.

В известном муви о нем меня удивило несколько вещей:
- во рту всегда жвачка! И как дыхалка не сбоит?
- при любых (даже легких) тягах использует кистевые ремни (хват экономит)
- говорит: я никогда не делаю меньше 10 повторений, обычно - 12-15!
